Originally these works were inspired by hollywood studio preroll sequences, MGM, Columbia etc. Plus a single word coming out of the bible and torah - Pisgah.
Revisiting this work 30 years later with thanks to Terry Burrows and the Kandos residency.

Pisgah now colloquially becomes a view of something longed for yet seemingly unattainable. It's highly unfashionable to quote the bible in contemporary art circles -the power of language and history is beyond fashion. Given the state of Israel with claims of land all the way up to the Euphrates - I think it might be good to reactivate a historical note here.
I'm still uncovering the archives and the work new works are in progress. These are sketches.
